As these braves scout ahead of their tribe, they scan the vast landscape, perhaps searching for any enemies, a new camp or food sources. Apsaakooke means "children of the large-beaked bird," which was misinterpreted to mean Crow. Today, the majority of the Crow people live on the Crow reservation in south central Montana; it is the largest of the seven reservations.
Each limited-edition giclée is hand-signed and numbered by the artist, printed on museum-grade canvas, and reproduced with exceptional color accuracy and detail.
